Existing Greens Drainage Gets Recommended By Speakers

 In Uncategorized

I was at another seminar last week in conjunction with a luncheon, and one of the group brought up, and or touched on briefly, the option of XGD Systems to improve greens.
I have to say the turfnerd shows/seminars I have attended over the last several years, we seem to get a shout out here and there, but it is continual and lasting, and we are thankful for that opportunity at XGD.
Some of the slide shots of our work are shots I wouldn’t choose to use, but we can’t be choosy on this, and there is always the reality factor rearing its head from time to time.

Here is a pic from our staff last fall at Interlachen CC, MN. This type of early installation of a few select greens here is a typical course of action, or XGD program for any club to initiate. This lets them sit back for a golf season and manage/play the greens with our internal subsurface greens drainage installed. It is during the next season when most clubs will perform an internal evaluation of their capital expenses and allocate accordingly.

XGD has developed a strong relationship with this classic old Donald Ross club. In fact this relationship began with our parent firm TDIGolf, who completed a bunker restoration here with golf architect Brian Silva about 5 years ago in preparation for the recent US Women’s Open which was held here recently as well.

So, as I continue out on my journey to hang with more turfnuts, I would like to say a very special thanks in advance to anyone who gives us a mention.

Cheers, Poor Old Dirt & Grass Farmer
