Re Sodding
Just a shot of one of our crews in New England sodding a green. The picture quality isn’t great but observers should be able to see the quality of the install. At this project we completed the XGD install after the old sod was stripped, and afterwards the club purchased new sod for our crews to lay. I must say both greens turned out great and am looking forward to monitoring their condition in the coming years. One might consider this another option to rebuilding as well, in a way similar to installing XGD and gassing/regrassing the putting surface.
Mark Rowan’s crews have wrapped up our Cape Arundel GC greens and fairway XGD project up in Maine and will be completing a few select greens in MA before moving to Westchester CC to finish the last 18 greens there.
Terry Hart’s crews begin an 18 green install at CC of Scranton http://www.ccscranton.com/ this week. Plans are to finish there in three weeks before they move west to begin at Oak Hill CC http://www.oakhillcc.com/ in Rochester,NY.
Obviously a busy time of year for us and we wouldn’t want it any other way. Stay tuned for some more project updates and pictures from these historic golf venues.
Later, Poor Old Dirt & Grass Farmer
