Ridgemoor CC Greens Drainage Install

 In Uncategorized

We just got underway in Chicagoland at this great old club that is a real sleeper in the area and Ridgemoor CC likes it that way as they continually fly under the radar in the area. This club is in a real positive financial situation as the golf membership is always full. After speaking to club officials, they keep the membership full by offering Monday golf outings, and in this way exposes the clubs to golfers who didn’t even know the club existed, and after playing the course are lining up to join.
Club superintendent here Peter Hahn has been here over 40 years, and it it shows when he is always able to recall old drainage main locations throughout the course enabling us to utilize them for great long term green drainage outlets. Please stay tuned as I will post another blog on http://www.ridgemoorcc.com/ ‘s long and interesting history.
While Matt Magarian is on site here at Ridgemoor, XGD is also completing some installs at some great courses closer to the east coast. For instance, Trent Bartman is finishing up the next to last phase at Oak Hill CC http://www.oakhill.com/ , as this venerable layout endeavours to outfit all their greens with the XGD System in advance of their hosting the 2013 PGA Championship. Once Trent finishes up here he will be mobilizing to Merion GC http://www.meriongolfclub.com/ to complete their last few greens in front of another 2013 major being held there, the 2013 US Open. And last, but certainly not least, Operations Manager Mark Rowan just embarked on the first phase of greens restoration at the Maidstone Club http://www.maidstoneclub.org/ on eastern Long Island,NY.
So give us a ring to view our professional installers in action at a club near you.
