Spring Season Underway

 In Uncategorized

Everybody always seems to question why we get underway so early. So early compared to TDIGolf http://www.tdigolf.com/ , who always have more muddy, open dirt type sites as compared to a tighter, cleaner XGD site.

Next week we get underway at Fairmont GC http://www.fairmontgolfcourse.com/ in Fairmont, NC, not far from I-95 near the SC border. With the non-stop heavy, constant precipitation events over the past several months, the bermudagrass greens at Fairmont are suffering mightily.

Consider this an invitation to any and all clubs in the area to stop by over the next few weeks and see our crews in action at Fairmont. Or feel free to stop by anytime to review the improved conditions on the greens at Fairmont. These greens are overseeded with poa triv at this time, so we will be handling the dormant bermudagrass, and the poa triv.

I will blog shortly on another crew heading to the left coast to complete a green in a desert climate to aid in sodium flushing, on a regular basis.

Until Then, Poor Old Dirt & Grass Farmer
