Turf Show Season

 In Golf Course Capital Improvements

After this long, cold winter I need to get back to the swing of things and start blogging more consistently. But, honestly without any true southern projects this winter, all crews are still shutdown and will begin to ramp up production in the next couple of weeks in the Mid Atlantic and points northeast. So, maybe then I can begin to tell everyone what we are up to with many exciting projects happening in the first half of 2014.

Which brings me to the theme of this post, which is spring turf show season which started the first week of February at GIS14 in Orlando:

From left to right we have yours truly, Greg Nichols, and our Operations Manager Matt Magarian. It was one of the best GIS’s ever for XGD with a busy booth and lots of interest in our Better Billy Bunker projects through the parent firm TDIGolf.
Missing from this portrait is Steve Noonan who will be accompanying me this week to Providence, RI for the New England Regional Turf Show which is always well attended and our usual kick off to the spring installation season.

So, if you plan on attending this week in Providence, by all means stop by to say hello, and see if one of XGD’s broad scope of restoration services can help your facility stay up to date.

Cheers, Poor Old Dirt & Grass Farmer
