Some New XGD Fairway Equipment

We finally got a chance to put our new XGD Fairway equipment to use at Hinsdale Golf Club on the fifth fairway:

Nothing earth shattering here with the technology, but it saves us a labour step in automatically picking up the 2″ trench spoils for us, and it is hooked up to automatic laser grade control, so that equates to less manual grade checking for our installation teams. As is usually the case, we have chosen to use 8′ spacing on the XGD fairway drainage laterals.

XGD Projects Manager Matt Magarian is completing some self training on this unit before passing on his operational skills to another on the staff.

Employing this type of equipment makes XGD just a little bit faster on our fairway installations, and a little more price competitive. Once Matt  and the crew complete at Hinsdale in Chicago this week, they will be moving on to some larger XGD fairway installations on the east coast.
