Waubeeka Golf Links and XGD Systems

 In Uncategorized

We are proud to be part of the stunning restoration being completed at this club with Mark Mungeam http://www.csmgolf.com/ and our parent firm TDIGolf http://www.tdigolf.com/ .

As you can tell by the picture of the fairway drainage we completed here about a month ago to great reviews.
We have recently been invited back to relieve some high gravitational groundwater problems on the 11th green at Waubeeka Golf Links http://www.waubeeka.com/ . The pressure is on to prepare the club for it’s historic grand reopening on July 2nd. Our subsurface greens installation team has been summoned to perform its non-invasive selective surgery to the arteries of the 11th green, and give superintendent Greg Tudor a fighting chance to provide the golf conditions that the area has come to expect from Waubeeka. If Mother Nature cooperates this week, we should be able to mobilize and be complete by the end of the week. That would give the XGD laterals a chance to put some minor roots down before the course opening.
It has been a pleasure working at Waubeeka, and with club architect Mark Mungeam, to help correct some of the drainage challenges facing the club before reopening. And who knows, by having our greens drainage installation team complete the worst green at Waubeeka, we know at XGD Systems that the chances our high for our firm to return and complete several more,if not all the greens at this Berkshire Hills public golf treasure.
