Bald Peak Colony Club, NH XGD Classic Installation

In Classic Golf Architecture, Donald Ross, Golf Course Capital Improvements, Golf Drainage, Golf Infrastructure Improvements, Greens Drainage, Long Term Effectiveness of Drainage

A few weeks ago XGD supervisor David Welsh and crew recently completed the fifth and sixth green at Bald Peak Colony Club on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. This facility prides itself on its general theme of historic charm and nuances that have, and will stand the test of time. It is this type of an effort to preserve its classic golf architecture feel that XGD would be a fantastic fit for any facility trying to do so. GCS Todd Pollini did his research and concluded that XGD Systems might be a perfect fit for the classic old pushup greens that Bald Peak has been trying to maintain and preserve well in to the future. Having proper greens drainage infrastructure is something that the club and Todd coveted for their problem greens. It has some of the most classic Donald Ross golf greens you will ever see as evidenced by our crew in action on the par3 fifth with the Lake through the trees:

Another formidable par 3 is the twelfth green with the historic castle in the hills in the mountain background:

Finally, the last par 3 seventeenth here at Bald Peak is just a scary proposition to hold and receive most every type of shot  sent its way:

So, please reach out to us at XGD, if we might help your facility retain its classic golf heritage like Bald Peak Colony Club has.

Cheers, Poor Old Dirt & Grass Farmer
